Pirkan Kylät - Ikäystävälliset kylät -hanke

I was working as a marketing and communications coordinator during Pirkan Kylät ry’s Ikäystävälliset kylät project, which addressed the wellbeing of elders in Pirkanmaa region’s villages by the means of fostering communal activities and gathering and spreading information about good practices related to communal activities. 

I created a mascot for the project, and I used the mascot in Pirkan Kylät ry’s Instagram marketing to promote events related to the project.

I also made a site for the project and implemented hand-drawn illustrations there as well.

In the illustrations I made for social media, I placed the chick character to the locations in which the events were going to take place, as if she were about to take part in them herself. I was going for bringing a sense of familiarity for the audience while I was using this new way of presenting things.
