Raccdaily is an online comic project with a following of over 107 000 people on Instagram. At best, the social media reach of the project is an audience of over a million people a month. I use this coverage to promote values such as love, compassion and self care, as well as to promote the habits of open emotional expression and honest reflection.

Racc the Raccoon is an advocate for remaining  positive in trying times and pushing through any challenges one may face during their life, all while honestly acknowledging that oftentimes life is hard and sometimes things just suck, and you absolutely can and should allow yourself to feel bad about it.

The daily illustrations have been online for almost four years now, resulting in raccoon-related commission work and print-for-demand merchandise, one offer for a book deal, and most of all, countless of wonderful comments and messages highlighting the personally experienced importance of the project. The overwhelmingly most mentioned positive aspect is how the raccdaily project makes people feel seen and understood.
